Why Brave Revolution?

Living in a fast-paced “do-more” society it can seem selfish to step back from our daily routines  and tune into self-care. It takes courage to slow down and  ask what the body needs  most, and it’s difficult to take time away from our jobs and home responsibilities. To further complicate matters, self-care may be perceived as a luxurious reward system. We modern humans tend to think that we must work hard and long before deserving self-care and rest. Rather than allowing ourselves nourishing self-care and rest so that we can do our best work, be our best partner, be our best parent and be our best selves. 

 

It’s a Brave Revolution to give yourself permission to slow down and tune in – to take time to determine what your body's unique needs are. To feel well, to move mindfully, to rest, to breathe, and to nourish.

"I purchased an introductory package of five private yoga sessions with Natalie. The experience was customized to address the needs of my body and nervous system. Natalie is a receptive listener and she has a keen ability to find the yoga asanas that met my requests. She delivered her instruction in a clear, understandable way. Her pacing is very grounded and she was very present to our time together. We did various shoulder openers and neck stretches that I found more productive than physical therapy. Natalie prioritized setting a safe container for our work together. She also provided a number of choice points and props throughout the yoga classes, which felt collaborative and supportive. The series was so attuned and unique that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to do a group class again!"
